Harvey H. Meldrum
Owner and Founder
Harvey Meldrum has been a Financial Consultant since 1987. He began
his career with John Hancock Financial Services and in 1990 left to
join a Financial Planning firm in Toms River. It was there that he
received most of his training as a full service Financial Planner
and developed a passion for Educational Planning. With a desire to
specialize in College Financial Aid Planning, Harvey founded Atlantic
Financial & Educational Services, L.L.C. in 1995. As word spread,
the business quickly grew. To date, Harvey Meldrum has
personally helped over 1,000 families through the process of finding
money for college. In addition to his business, Harvey is a N.J. and
Regional Staff Coach with U.S. Soccer's Olympic Development Program
and an Assistant Coach with the Women's Soccer Team at Monmouth
University.
Harvey lives with his wife Cindy and their family of pets in
Manasquan, NJ.

Jim O'Neill
College Planning Specialist
Atlantic Financial & Educational Services is pleased to welcome Jim O'Neill to our college planning staff.
After owning and managing restaurants in NYC and the Jersey Shore for 24 years, Jim was ready for a career change...a change that would satisfy his desire to not only spend more quality time with his family but provide the gratification that comes from helping families. AFES was the perfect fit as we have been helping the families of college bound students choose and pay for the college of their choice since 1987.
Jim is no stranger to helping families as he has founded and/or been involved in numerous charitable organizations and foundations, including his work with ALS research. Jim's passion for helping people earned him the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce "Outstanding Service Award" in 2005.
In addition to obtaining the necessary licenses to help prospective AFES clients, he also has his Property and Casualty insurance licenses. If you would like a complimentary evaluation of your Auto or Homeowners Insurance, please give Jim a call.
Jim currently resides in Manasquan, N.J. with his wife Lauren and their sons James,7 and Jude 5. Jim's stepson Mark, 23 also lives in Manasquan.

Kurt Epps
College Admissions Counselor
Kurt was and is a valued client of AFES and has joined us as a
College Admissions Coach in 2007. Kurt is a retired teacher of
HS English who served his students, parents and his public school
districts in Clark and Passaic for 37 years. He currently is an
assistant wrestling coach at Rutgers Prep, and has served as an
adjunct professor at Middlesex County College where he helped
incoming freshman adjust to college life, its demands and its
dangers. He is an award-winning writer with an exceptional
command of the language and the ability to communicate effectively
in both written and spoken English. He also reads, speaks and
writes Spanish. He is an accomplished entertainer and beer
connoisseur.
Kurt is married to Donna and they have 3 sons. Brett is attending
Elizabethtown College, Kacy is a senior at Rutgers Prep and
Cody is a freshman at Rutgers Prep. They reside in Perth Amboy, NJ

Bill DePeppe
College Admissions Counselor
Bill DePeppe joins AFES as our newest College Admissions Counselor.
Bill received his Bachelor's in Education from NYU and Masters in Guidance and Student Personnel Services from Kean University. He taught High School English for 3 years and then spent the next 30 years as the Director of Guidance at Freehold Township H.S. While at Freehold, Bill also served as the Boy's Head Soccer coach for 13 years.
Since retiring from Freehold in 1998, he has been employed by Drew University as an Admissions Counselor. His extensive experience in guiding High School students and knowledge of the College Admissions process makes him a great resource and invaluable addition to the AFES family.
Bill has 3 married sons, 6 grandchildren and lives with his wife Carol in Wall, N.J.

Cynthia Dyke-Meldrum
Business Manager
Cindy joins AFES as our Business Manager. She has over 30 years in Business and Practice Management, and has decided to join her husband Harvey in their family business. With Cindy's expertise in all areas of Business and Practice Management she is a great asset to Atlantic Financial and Educational Services.
Cindy resides in Manasquan with her husband Harvey and their family of pets.

Anne Marie McGrory
Anne Marie joined the Atlantic Financial staff in February of 2003.
Anne Marie comes to us from a large corporate environment and finds
the friendly, professional atmosphere of Atlantic Financial a
refreshing change of pace. When not at her desk, Anne Marie can be
found helping her husband operate the
Norwood Inn
in Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J.

Madison - Office Mascot
Madison is Harvey and Cindy's 4 year old Cockapoo who is as much at home in the office as she is at the house. If you visit our office, be sure to give her a treat, which you can find at the front desk.
